The LEVAPOR-Story LEVAPOR carriers have been developed in the chemical industry for the biotreatment of effluents containing problematic (persistent, inhibitory) pollutants. Due to the additionally generated sludge, the addition of powdered activated carbon, as normally recomended, is not practicable. The efficiency of current carrier materials made of plastics or polymeric foam could not meet the requirements. The search for alternatives, led to the idea of combining the positive attributes of adsorbant pigments and elastic, porous foams. A series of experiments resulted in optimised,variable, tailor made products. Long term pilot tests carried out under industrial conditions, confirmed the advantages of carrier supported biotreatment practices. Due to the fact, that production and marketing of these products was not congruous to strategy of the company involved at the time , the inventors( BIOCONSULTING) have decided to take on the rights themselves. Our Service Successful application of this technology requires more than marketing the carrier material. We offer in addition additional to LEVAPOR also our experiences covering more than 30 years in the business practice.
